Atmospheric Floral is a Preferred Vendor at The Tinsmith in Madison.
“When I first saw my bouquet for the day I actually was more emotional than when I first saw my husband! The florals were perfect and I did not have to worry about them at all!”
Kim + Andrew's sultry late August Tinsmith Wedding in Madison is a great example of how color can really set the mood for a wedding experience.
Kim and Andrew are an easygoing couple; they wanted something fresh and elegant, but different for their wedding flowers and they didn’t want to have to imagine it themselves. With the thoughtful touches and collaboration of Olive Branch Event Co, their planner, we were able to create something perfectly suited to the fun-loving personality of the couple.
Kim’s rave review: "I knew I wanted florals to be a big part of the day but I did not have a clear vision of what they should look like. I was looking for a florist who I could offer creative freedom and who would come through with elegant, colorful and cohesive and Atmospheric Floral absolutely delivered! Mary Jo’s bouquets and ceremony installations and greenery in the reception area made our venue come to life!"
In the reception area, Kim and Andrew wanted trailing greenery hung from the ceiling to be the grand floral moment of the day. Loosely covering the space over the dining tables, the airy vines looked as if they had sprouted magically overnight, perfectly at home with the iconic green plant vibe native to a Tinsmith wedding.
For the ceremony, the lush floral arch anchored the space where Kim + Andrew exchanged their vows. The line of bridesmaids and groomsmen framed the space perfectly, bringing the colors and soft floral feel into the focal space up front. Behind them, tall pillar candles in cylinders lined the windows and cast a flickering glow to the ceremony. After, they were moved to the dining tables to continue their service.
The look: industrial chic, softened with the romance of these light + elegant florals and fine-textured greens
The wedding color palette: Muted tones of lilac, lavender and mauve will turn smokey under the lens of the moody photography. Pops of soft blue for a whispered accent. This bride loves hydrangea and we love it as a fine carrier of that blue tone.
The flowers: lavender garden roses, lisianthus, locally grown soft pink cosmos, clematis, blue hydrangea, dahlias, echinops, lysimachia, larkspur, and astilbe, to name but a few.
How Atmospheric Floral elevated their vision: the florals became the color story of this Tinsmith wedding experience, bridging the gap between the attire of the bridal party and the green plant foundation of the venue. The trailing greenery suspended over the dining area was the icing over it all.
Kim’s bouquet was placed at the sweetheart table and impactful stems in bud vases lined the guest tables.
"Mary Jo adjusted her plans to add florals for our “flower baby” wagon which was one of the cutest things ever. She also took an extra trip to the salon with florals for my hair so I would not have to worry about those being installed. They also handled setup and tear down so we could relax and enjoy the day and head straight to the after party!"
