Are you planning a Schlitz Audubon Nature Center wedding in Milwaukee?
As a Milwaukee florist, we revel in rustic outdoor spaces like this near the lakeshore.
Another rave review:
"We cannot even BEGIN to express how thankful we are for the beautiful work you did for our wedding…. it is no exaggeration to say that you were far and away our favorite vendor! You made our vision a reality, even more than I could have dreamed of. At the end of the night, I didn’t want to leave the venue simply because of the magically beautiful space you had created." – Elyse + Matty
Elyse + Matty's Schlitz Audubon Nature Center wedding was a celebration of autumn and fall color in October.
Elyse and Matty wanted the feel of their wedding to be full of vibrance – the quintessential fall color at its peak. Nothing dead or dried or evoking the transition to winter. “Alive Fall” and peak color and rich, saturated color became the color palette and was the perfect complement to the grounds of the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, also in full autumn splendor that weekend in October. Reds, saturated orange, burgundy, and pops of ochre were softened with shades of apricot and a rich base of greenery.
It was a vibe as lush and warm as their personalities. The florals flowed beautifully through each facet of their day. With the collaboration of Midwestern Bride, we planned for a floral scope that was truly optimized for the day - with all of the flowers from the ceremony moving to the reception to continue their magic.
The arch flowers holding court for the ceremony transitioned beautifully to the fireplace mantel and hewn pillars around the dance floor for the reception and the florals along the aisle transformed into dining table centerpieces with ease.
The rustic lodge interior of the Schlitz Audubon welcomed the guests into an enclosure hung with vining greenery and so much warmth. Our expert team wound loose vining greenery up the pillars to bring the outdoor feel into the lodge. And the grand floral moment - the suspended greenery over the dance floor – how dramatic is that first dance??!?
